Time really passes by fast when you’re enjoying it. I just got home a few hours ago after driving my wife to the airport. She boards her plane at around 9:15. Have a safe flight honey. I had a really really good time. Thank you for everything! I’m going to miss you baby… I hope to be with you soon. I love you!

Woke up at 4am. Left the house at 4:50am. Arrived at the US Embassy grounds at 6am. Interview finished at 8am. Denied for the 4th time. I’m 99.9% sure I’m not applying again for a US B1/B2 Visa. I’ll just wait for my wife’s petition to get processed. Hopefully, that will be a one shot. I’m getting too used to rejections. I hope that changes in 2010.

Last year, when my three younger brothers went to the US to visit Mom, the youngest decided to stay there with her. After not seeing mom for 5 years, it was good for both of them so that they can get to know each other better. He was only 5 when Mom left for the US so they have a lot of catching up to do.
A few hours ago, I drove my fourth youngest brother to the airport. Mom just had her citizenship approved and since the fourth is still a minor, he has to live in the US to automatically be a citizen. Mom gave him a choice whether to continue his studies here or there. Eventually, he opted to go the US and finish school there.
Now, there’s only 3 of us left + my dad here at home. It’s getting more quiet every year. Up next is the 3rd or the first, which is me.
Anyway, I’m just still not used to the deafening silence here at home.

Whenever I look at my face, I remember those dot games that I used to play. I have over 100 dots on my face. I didn’t intentionally draw dots on my face. It’s because my brother and I went to a skin care clinic last Saturday morning to have warts removal. I didn’t know I had so much warts on my face since their were quite minute.
Anyway, it was over quickly but it was very painful! First, she applies anesthesia then she allows for it to take effect. After 15 minutes or so, she starts burning the warts using some device. I could really feel my skin being burnt. I didn’t feel anything for some warts but for most, I cringed in pain. She was even wiping my tears. I’m glad it’s over. Now, I just have to connect the dots before they disappear. Hehehe!

“Good things come to those who wait.”
I have always believed in this and so through the years, I have developed my patience, but lately, I have been in the brink of my patience threshold. I’ve been here before and all I did was to extend my patience a little longer but now, I can’t seem to find reasons to extend it some more. It’s really frustrating. I’ve never been more patient in my life, but all this waiting is getting to me. Maybe something greater will come. I hope.
Nevermind. I’ve extended it a day more.

I was driving on my way home the other night and something really weird happened. This occurred in the intersection at Parang, Marikina. I tried to beat the red light but I knew it was too late so I just stopped and waited for my turn. When I knew that it would be green already, the stoplight flashed red, yellow and green continuously. Some of the cars almost bumped each other. I didn’t move just yet because I was amused hehehe! When the intersection was clear, I moved and went home thinking, “What the heck did just happen?” It was like a scene in a movie. Hehehe!
